My collaborative approach to wedding planning gives each couple I work with access to an impressive cloud-based digital planning platform, from which you can view each aspect of your wedding and its progress in the planning stage, all in one place. Each couple is provided with a secure login, with a dedicated wedding area designed uniquely for you based on the services enlisted as discussed in our initial consultation - keeping you in control each step of the way

The checklist is the most important tool during the planning process, keeping tasks on track in the lead up to the big day. Once your customised checklist is created, you will have full access to view the tasks already completed and those still to be ticked off, either by myself as your planner, or by you and your partner. The checklist is broken down by month, so it is easy to see at a glance the timeframes we should be working within. As each task becomes due or completed, you will receive an in-app notification so you stay up to date every step of the way.
A tailored budget planner is invaluable in tracking where money is being spent, and keeping to within the overall budget. Once the budget has been decided, an appropriate proportion will be allocated to each element of the wedding, and an estimate set for each section within that element. As each item is purchased, the actual cost can be input to see at a glance where money has been saved, or where it can be allocated elsewhere. What's more, you will receive automatic reminders when upcoming payments are due, keeping you on schedule throughout the process.
Similar to Pinterest in it's usability, but so much more personal! Once your design studio is created, I will start adding style guides for each element on the day and filling them with ideas which I feel best represent your vision based on our initial discussions. If you or your partner have spotted any ideas online, simply drag and drop your chosen image directly into the board. Within each image you can comment on the elements you like (or dislike), from which we can build up a comprehensive visual for each element and use to select the most suitable suppliers.
This incredibly powerful yet easy to use seating chart makes planning your tables a breeze. Simply select the number of tables and seats per table according to your venue capacity, and drag and drop your guests' names from the guest management tool into the available spaces. Each name is ticked off as you go to ensure no-one gets missed, and the programme allows for adding or removing tables or chairs with just one click. Furthermore, the programme make it easy to identify at a glance any children, and guests with dietary requirements or meal preferences.
No more complicated Excel spreadsheets! This interactive guest management tool is one of the most comprehensive available, keeping track of your guest addresses, RSVPs, dietary requirements/allergies, accessibility needs and any roles of guests within the wedding party. When all replies are received and the final guest list is complete, the software creates a sophisticated PDF document to pass directly on to the catering team. After the big day, the programme even allows you to keep track of any gifts received, and whether a thank you note has been sent!
A carefully planned wedding timeline is essential to the successful running of the day, and ensuring nothing is left to chance. The timeline also ensures other suppliers know exactly what they need to do and when throughout the day; having agreed timings directly with each supplier, the master schedule is broken down individually and emailed to each supplier prior to the day itself. In addition I will walk through the wedding with each supplier on the morning of the wedding, ensuring everyone is on exactly the same page.
