What can I expect from our first meeting?

Over a cup of coffee, pot of tea or a glass of wine, we will talk through your wedding plans in a little more detail and establish the areas in which you may require assistance in the planning or styling of your wedding. You will have the opportunity to look over my previous work, and ask any questions you may have. Based on our discussions, I will return to you a tailored proposal specifically designed to suit the level of professional assistance you require. Take your time to look over the proposal at your leisure, and I will work with you to address any queries. When you are completely satisfied, simply return the signed proposal along with the agreed deposit and I will set up your secure dedicated wedding area and commence work on the agreed tasks. 

Do you offer payment plans?

Absolutely! For services booked at least 6 months in advance of the the wedding date and totalling £500 or more, I offer the facility for any payment due to be made over 3 instalments (35% payable upon signing of the contract, 30% at the midpoint between signing the contract and the date of the wedding, and the remaining 35% due no later than one month before the wedding itself), or via a monthly payment plan for complete flexibility.

Do you take a commission from suppliers you recommend?

As a member of the Best Practice Association of Wedding Planning & Event Management, I follow the protocol of never taking a commission or fee from suppliers, thus ensuring impartiality and that any suppliers are recommended due to their unique skills and talents. I have built up strong relationships with a number of suppliers whose work I love and professionalism I trust, many of whom have recognised accolades as some of the very best in the wedding and event industry. I will negotiate the best possible price for any services provided, and ensure that any discounts are passed directly on to you. 

What about insurance?

I hold public liability insurance providing cover for up to £1 million (extended to £5 million for large scale weddings and events). Please note that this doesn't negate the need for your own wedding insurance to cover you in the event of unforeseen circumstances (for example accident, illness or bereavement), and doesn't cover any other suppliers.
