"I believe that every wedding should tell a story, and I love finding beautiful and creative ways to reflect the personalities, history and shared values of the couples I work with"

As a child I was a dreamer and an avid list maker.

Despite this, I didn't set out to become a wedding planner; originally I had my heart set on a career in Law. Switching direction during my second year at University, I spent the next several years in Event Management, working with number of high profile corporate companies and charitable organisations coordinating medium to large scale events across the South West.

Fast forward to 2009 when a friend of mine got engaged, and asked for my help in planning and styling her wedding. Although it was the first wedding I'd embarked on, I realised that whilst my organisational abilities and industry connections were a huge strength during the process, I also rediscovered my passion for creativity. Away from the structured confines of corporate events, I fell in love with the finer details - the textures of fabrics, the blending of colour schemes, the beauty of a stunning bouquet. Most importantly, I discovered the fulfilment of creating a beautiful celebration of love, marking the first day in a couple's new chapter in their journey together.

I certified as a professional wedding planner in 2010, and around the same time founded a successful online wedding decor and hire company, retailing to customers within the UK and internationally, and featuring in a number of respected publications including British Vogue. I eventually streamlined the business and launched my planning services in 2014.

I have since helped dozens of couples realise their vision for their perfect day, and specialise in planning UK weddings for couples living oversees via regular Skype contact and email. I have established close working relationships with many talented local suppliers, and am the recommended wedding planner for a number of prestigious venues, including The Mansion House in Clifton, Frampton Court Estate, and The Matara Centre near Tetbury.

My work has been featured in a number of publications and blogs, including South West Bride, Your Bristol & Somerset Wedding, and the English Wedding Blog, and in February 2018 I was honoured to receive the award for "Best Wedding Planner 2018" in the Bristol & Somerset Wedding Awards, as voted for by the wonderful couples I have been privileged to work with.
